Blob dances with fear, through space and time. The light waves bend for just a moment to capture this image.
I've found that my obsession with color goes almost just as deep as my obsession with linework. Despite the partial color-blindness, I've been drawn to collaborate with many artists who use gradients as a prominent feature in their work.
In an instant, gradients capture the essence of transformation and can represent something a little bit different to everyone. Over the years I've learned different ways of playing with gradients on paper. Here I decided to treat the paper like a wall, and start with spray gradient, to later mask out the Blob with black Krink.
Improvisational painting originally created in 2022. This was one of the first paintings I made on paper I made in my current studio after moving in.
